It’s no news that social media is filled with overly-edited photos. The unrealistic body image and facial features have become so apparent and yet some influencers think that they can fool others with face filters and photoshop editing.

A makeup artist, Holly Cockerill, who is quite famous on TikTok, tried to expose the widespread fake photos on social media. She created “Instagram vs reality” photos in a series of TikTok videos and photoshopped her own pics. “Social media is fake, don’t be fooled”, she explained in the caption. She also clarified that she doesn’t use these photoshopped images and she only did this to show how easy it is for people to edit their photos.
