By now, there’s no denying that climate change is real, and we hear a new report on it almost every week. However, it can be hard to grasp just how much it affects nature and our lives by simply looking out the window. And to really highlight just how much climate change has impacted our planet, Google Earth published a series of short time lapse videos that perfectly illustrate these changes.

Along with the videos, Google Earth has also introduced a new timelapse feature that allows you to see just how much a certain are changed over the years. From the majestic glaciers of Alaska to the vast deserts of the United Arab Emirates, see just how much our planet changed from 1984 to 2020 in the gallery below!
