Even if the name Thomas Kinkade doesn’t ring a bell, you’ve probably seen his works before – especially if you’re a fan of Disney. Thomas was a professional painter and painted many incredible landscape and still life paintings during his life. Back in 2005, the man was commissioned by Disney to paint Disneyland in celebration of its 50th anniversary, and was granted a license to paint the Disney Dreams Collection afterwards. Sadly, Thomas passed away back in 2012, however, Disney extended the license to Thomas Kinkade Studios after the artist’s passing, and they continue creating incredible Disney art to this day.

In a recent interview with Bored Panda, Thomas Kinkade Studios said that they create new Limited Edition Disney art every year. “The ideas come from working with Disney, and Disney weighs in on each step of the creation process, so it’s a true collaboration,” says the studio.
