Anna Romanova is a Russian artist who has been creating adorable felt animals that fit in the palm of your hand since 2010. In an interview with Bored Panda, the woman said that she started creating the felt animals as a hobby and initially only made them for her friends. However, after the artist started sharing photos of her works on Instagram, people absolutely fell in love with the tiny wool animals so she began selling them.

To create the little animals, Anna uses sheep’s wool and specialized felting needles. A single one of her toys can take between 5 to 14 days to finish, depending on the size and complexity. “I don’t like making copies of real animals, my toys have my own style, you could see it if you look in their eyes,” says the artist.

Anna warns that she has seen many scammers pretending to sell their own works under the artist’s name and says that you can only purchase the real thing by contacting her on Facebook or Instagram. Check out her adorable felt animals in the gallery below!
